Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin said defeating Bangladesh in
Wednesday’s nail-biter could be termed a fluke, reports Indian Bangla
daily Bartaman.
Man-of-the-match Ashwin told this to a Tamil-Kannada TV channel that
the Indian batsmen did not bat well and the match was under Bangladesh’s
control up to 18 overs. “The way we won, if someone claims the win to
be a fluke, I’ll not argue.”
Ashwin said, “I feel good being the man-of-the-match. I had a tussle with Shakib as a spinner all rounder. Happy to dismiss him. However, we have to improve in all sides.
