Losing Taskin-Sunny was hard’

The Bangladesh cricket team returned home from India on Sunday morning after completing their part in the World T20.
After winning all the three matches in the qualifiers against Oman, the Netehrlands and Ireland, the Tigers booked a place in the Super 10s, but defeats in all the four matches saw them return home not in the best of their spirits.
Losing against India by only 1 run was the hardest of the defeats. Tiger skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza also said the same thing while speaking to the reporters on their arrival.
“The way we lost to India was really heartbreaking. However, we got some good lessons from this T20 World Cup which will be helpful for us in the future,” Mashrafe said.
He said, “Ban on Taskin and Sunny before the match against Australia and Tamim also not playing in that match put us on lot of pressure. Still we played well against them.”
Mashrafe also hoped that Taskin will soon make a comeback.
“Taskin’s ban was really surprising for us as well as for other experts from other countries. They also thought that there was no problem with his deliveries. I hope he makes a quick comeback,” he said.
